MY PAINS AND GAINS AS A FASA EXCO

MY PAINS AND GAINS AS A FASA EXCO

My Pain as a FASA Exco is seeing fasaites go through the rigours of studying and still end up with bad results.
My Pain as a FASA Exco is seeing fasaites visiting the toilets and they are locked but instead of asking questions walk away to Faculty of Bus Admin or Law.
My Pain as a FASA Exco is hearing fasaites show distrust in the association.
My Pain as a FASA Exco is seeing Fasaites rush to Sugar Mama, Mavise, Shop 10, Jesus Assembly, Blessed, Calabar Kitchen etc. to get food and run back to the faculty with heavy stomach to catch up with their next class.

My Gain as a FASA Exco is seeing fasaites excel academically.
My Gain as a FASA Exco is seeing the condition of the toilets improve positively.

My Gain as a FASA Exco is knowing fasaites have a sense of belonging when it comes to FASA matters and are carried along in decision making.
My Gain as a FASA Exco is seeing the student cafeteria that has been clamoured for since Jimmy era (2014) get approved and also seeing to it being fully functional.

Trust me, the journey has being tough but also wonderful. In short, the joy I derive from the smiles on fasaites faces overwhelms the stress that comes with the joy, and I'm sure the smiles will get broader.

A good heart is not just the needed criterion for the job at hand. Experience, Zeal & Passion to serve also count. So, Vote Opeyemi Eniola Olaniyi as FASA President.
